Friendly, clean and affordable are probably the best words to use to describe The Meeting Place in Taipei. It is a budget accomodation venue that charges as low as 10 USD a night for a 12-man dormitory. Despite the large numbers, everyone still can get their bit of privacy in the spacious bunks. read more »

Star Hostel in Taiwan is a good place to stay with friends if you want to save your money for shopping and eating in Taiwan! Affordable but value-for-money, the hostel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, near the beautiful Zhongshan Boulevard, lined with trees. Star Hostel is well maintained and of pristine condition, with spacious living rooms and four-bed dormitories.
