The Chiayi Culture Center, which showcases the local culture in the area, comprises three buildings which house a coloured-pottery museum, a library and a 1113-seat music hall. It is an excellent place to learn about the rich history of the Chiayi district in Taiwan, and to immerse yourself in Taiwanese history. While you visit the Chiayi City Culture Center, remember to visit the pool of Chinese Firs, a pond to the north of the music hall which is listed as one of eight scenic spots in Chulo. read more »

The Nantou Sand Sculpture Festival is a festival that began in 2009, and has since become an annual event held at the bank of Maoluo Creek, usually from January to February. This festival is expected to attract a large crowd of visitors to the venue.
