Temple Street, also known as "Men's street", is one of Hong Kong's two most famous fleas markets (the other being "Ladies' Street", also in Mong Kok). All along its length, numerous shops and stalls are selling men's clothing, watches, accessories and miscellaneous second hand goods. One of Hong Kong's most popular street markets, Ladies Market is packed with locals and tourists looking for bargains on clothes, accessories, bags, cosmetics, souvenirs, household knick-knacks and other quirky items. It emerged as a result of the Hong Kong government's efforts to create 'authorized hawkering zones' back in 1975, and derived its name due to the abundance of hawkers selling ladies clothing and accessories. Stanley Market is a popular market located on the south side of Hong Kong Island. Open 7 days a week around Stanley New Street and Stanley Market Road, it is well known for bargain buys, with bargain hunters from all over the world gathering here to engage in some haggling. Brand-name clothing and accessories can be found here, as well as other oriental knick-knacks perfect as souvenirs or ornaments. read more »

Located in the Central district on Hong Kong Island, Li Yuen Street East and West is also sometimes simplified as 'the lanes of Central', or simply 'the lanes'. The two alleys run parallel to ach other between the Des Voeux Road and Queen's Road Central, and both are lined with stalls.
