Located about 15 km from the provincial capital, Hat Chao Samran is a 4 km long stretch of beach popular for its beauty and solitude, with only a small number of shops and residents. It derives its name from the legend that says that King Naresuan the Great and his younger brother Eka Thotsarot once visited the place during the Ayutthaya period.
