Located near the old city of Siam, Muang Sing Historical Park is an ancient site that dates back to the 12th to 14th century. Its principal structure, the Khmer Prasat Muang Sing (Tower of the City of Lions), is believed to have been the western most outpost of the Angkor-centred Khmer empire. Given this area's importance in the history of Thailand, it was renovated in 1974, and declared as a historical park in 1987. read more »

It is regarded as the most beautiful structure in the Lanna region, taking up to 5 years to build. The most famous temple in the City of Nan, Wat Phumin is a uniquely designed temple, featuring a 4-portico, single building that houses both the Ubosot and Vihan. Wat Phumin consists of 4 Buddha statues in the main hall, with their backs against one another, facing 4 different directions. The temple is also constructed with very fine detail, with the doors delicately carved in splendid designed by Lanna craftsmen. read more »

Khao Chichan's Engraved Buddha Image is a line-etched Buddha image on the cliff of Mount Chichan. It is a sacred Buddhist object, and also the largest effigy of its kind, leaving many amazed by the sheer magnitude of it. At 130 meters high and 70 meters wide, it is an engraving worthy for the king, rightfully presented to the King for his 50th anniversary on the throne. read more »
