Niseko is a skiing place where they have ski resorts, restaurants, cafes, and equipment rental stores. Tazawa Pond Centre is one of the place in Akita near Lake Tazawa where you can come in here to do some fishing and grill the fish on the spot. Take away of the fishes you caught is also available if you intend to bring them back. Beside the fishing pond, the place is also popular among people who wish to buy fish related gifts like the char sushi, or Miso marinated char found in their gift shop. read more »

Yoyogi Park in Shibuya-ku is one of the largest parks in Tokyo, located adjacent to the Meiji Shrine and Harajuku Station. It serves as a meeting place, with many flocking here for practice sessions and even play rehearsals, reflected by the varied sorts of talent visible here at Yoyogi Park, ranging from horn players to hip hop dancers. Visitors can climb from the Mount Akagi Visitor's Center to Mount Komagadake, Mount Kurobi and other destinations. Mount Tanigawa, standing at 1977m high, will get buried in the white and powdery snow in the season of winter which will then thaw in spring to form meltwater that will eventually be the other source of water for the Tone River. The other best season to be here would of course be in autumn, when the changing colours of fall leaves will bring the entire landscape of Mount Tanigawa to life as well as the surrounding valleys.
