The Thick Noodle Soup at Yingcai Road is famous for their Da Mien Geng (Thick Noodle Soup) which are thick yellow noodles covered with leeks and fried onions. The soup is thick, sticky and tasty, definitely a must-try dish in Taiwan that will send you begging for more. Situated not far from Tunghai University, is the Tunghai Art Street, or also known as the Taichung Art Street. Do not be fooled by the name where it only shows one street apparently, it is actually a collection of streets and narrow alleys dominated with art galleries, handicraft shops and more! There are also several secondhand bookshops where visitors might be able to come across many stories or tales that are unheard of.
