This is a must visit place as you can get to take a look at all kinds of pottery just in Kinmen Pottery Factory. Not only does it produces ceramic wine bottles for Kaoliang Liquor, the bottles are also designed in such a way that it becomes highly appealing to antique collectors and also as souvenirs for tourists to purchase. The Kinmen Pottery Factory also includes a pottery museum with hundreds of precious pottery exhibited. read more »

At this cultural centre, visitors can get to learn about the Amis tribe (阿美族). Their deep love for dancing and singing brings them to create instruments using materials from the natural environment. Traditional musical instruments such as the “Bamboo Drum” (竹鼓) are used to deter the birds during harvest time, “Nose Pipes” (鼻笛) are used to communication purposes and “Bamboo Bell” (竹鐘)is used to announce the acceptance of the son-in-law by bride’s family as well as many others are on display in the Amis Folk Centre. read more »

The building housing the Glass Museum of Hsinchu City was built in the 30s' and was previously a guesthouse used to entertain the Japanese royals and high ranking officials who visited Taiwan. Sanyi Duck Treasure Shop is founded in the early 60s and was formerly known as 'Shuang-Feng Wood Carving Factory'. It specialises in making wooden ducks for exports to America and Canada as baits for duck hunters to lure real ducks in the past, but the exports has since declined due to the rise in animal protection awareness. Now it relies mainly on selling its wooden ducks for home decoration and provides DIY activity. read more »

Pu Li Winery is famous for its Shaosing Rice Wine across Taiwan, opening its own museum in the year 1996.
