The River Safari started out as a simple aquarium exhibit. In 1996, the idea of the aquarium was to simply complement Singapore Zoo by having an extensive collection of fish and aquatic plants which will at the same time, make full use of the entire freshwater surroundings in that area. However, over the years, the idea was just not good enough as more ideas were thrown in by the management that seem to be better than one another each time. read more »
