Wellington Street is a street on Central and Sheung Wan famous for its many shops of the most diverse varieties. Amongst these are eateries such as the famous Lin Heung tea house, Mak's noodles and Yung Kee. Hong Kong Ocean Park is an oceanarium, animal theme park, and amusement park rolled into one. Opened in 1977, the theme park boasts an annual visitor attendance of over 5 million, rivaling the Hong Kong Disneyland. Marine animal lovers get to experience 11 animal exhibits and animal shows as well as the Atoll Reef--a 4 story aquarium holding more than 2000 over fish. read more »

Temple Street, also known as "Men's street", is one of Hong Kong's two most famous fleas markets (the other being "Ladies' Street", also in Mong Kok). All along its length, numerous shops and stalls are selling men's clothing, watches, accessories and miscellaneous second hand goods. Take a walk down the street before buying anything: prices for the same thing can vary widely at different stores. read more »

The Hong Kong Disneyland is a curious mix of the theme park's western heritage and the city state's cultural heritage. For example, the park was designed in consultation with feng shui masters, and park attendants and cast speak a mixture of Cantonese, English and Mandarin. The park hosts the usual run of Disneyland features like AdventureLand, TomorrowLand, FantasyLand, etc, on top of the world exclusive Disney's Haunted Halloween which celebrates the Halloween season with hair-raising spooky attractions (which are nonetheless family friendly). read more »

Opened in 1989, The HK Cultural Centre is a multipurpose facility for the performing arts and other cultural activities. Located at the Victoria Harbour, it is within walking distance of the both East Tsim Sha Tsui Station and Star Ferry Tsim Sha Tsui Terminal. Marvel at its unique architecture (some say it's built to resemble the Phoenix) and also look out for the iconic clock tower--a historic remnant of the former Kowloon Railway Station--just next to it. read more »

Originating in Guangzhou, Lin Heung Teahouse expanded to Hong Kong in the early 20th century, with this branch in the Central dating back to 1918. Diners will find the most traditional Cantonese flavours here, produced from Lin Heung's decades-old recipes. A naturally formed harbour, the Victoria Habour has long been a key trading port in Hong Kong since its time as a British colony. Today, it is well known for its spectacular view of the Hong Kong Island.
