Located near Krabi Town, Wat Tham Sua (Tiger Cave Temple) is one of the more interesting and unique temple complexes in southern Thailand, given that the monks live and worship within a maze of natural caves in an overgrown jungle valley. It derives its name from the rock outgrowth nearby that resembles a tiger's claw. Wat Tham Sua is also considered by Krabi's Buddhists to be one of the most sacred sites in the province, being a prominent center for mediation. read more »
