Toei Eigamura - Theme Park in Japan

Also being known as Kyoto Studio Park or Movie Land, the Toei Eigamura is an amalgamation of a film set and a theme park. The main attraction of Toei Eigamura would be the several mimics of the traditional Japanese buildings which are all ideal to be used as the setting for the historical movies as well as television drama serials. Within the theme park as well, there will be an entire street which illustrates the Edo Period town setting, a replica of Nihonbashi Bridge, traditional court house, police box from the Meiji Period and a part of the red light district from Yoshiwara. If you are lucky enough, you will get to even spot some celebrities or directors here, together with the entire actual film set that will take place occasionally in this unique attraction of Kyoto. You are also given the opportunity to experience of being one of the traditional characters as there will be costumes that you can dress up with and take a photograph to impress your loved ones back home.
