One of the few home-like cheap accommodations around Takayama Station, Guesthouse Gekka is a great place for toursits interested to explore the various attractions within the Takayama region, given its great access to Oku Hida Hot Springs and the World Heritage Site Shirakawago. The rooms are neat and simple. Guests can also enjoy free wifi and use the computers for free in the comfortable and relaxing lounge. There are also a variety of music DVDs and movie DVDs for guests to while their time away. Guesthouse Gekka also has its own cafe.

After getting out the exit of JR Takayama Station, walk south for 200m, turn right at the traffic light of a T intersection on to Rt. 158, and turn left at the next traffic light. Walk until you pass a Lawson store, and you will see our guest house on the left side of the street. We are about 13 min walk from JR Takayama Station.
