The entire stretch of Fisherman's Village is known to be the most well-preserved destination in Koh Samui. To experience an amalgamation of Chinese and Thai atmosphere, the Fisherman's Village will be a good place as many of the shophouses are constructed in a way that resembles the traditional wooden inns in China. However, the stuffs that are sold inside these old wooden houses will be of the most up-to-date and modern products. Along the way down the village, there will be restaurants, spas and salons and eventually leading to Rikety Pier. At this pier, it would be for those who would like to get closer to the sea. When night falls, the Fisherman's Village will have a night life that is comparable to many places in Thailand. For individuals who seek a more tranquil and quiet place, be in the Fisherman's Village in the afternoon, to take a stroll while taking in the best scenery around. For those who would want to experience the boisterous crowd of Fisherman's Village, it will be best to be here at night where locals as well as tourists will be wondering off to the different restaurants or pubs to spend their night away.
