As Singapore’s first independent contemporary arts centre, The Substation presents and co-presents a wide range of artists and programmes, featuring traditionally trained dancers to local rock bands, short film festivals, established visual artists to young poets, experimental theatre to seminal conferences on Singapore arts and culture. The Substation boasts a 120-seat theaterette, a gallery, a dance studio, two multifunction rooms, a garden courtyard for performances. It has grew to become an alternative space for the arts for young local artists.
