A cultural theme park, Haw Par Villa is named after the owners, the Aw brothers Boon Haw and Boon Par. It offers visitors an educational experience about Chinese mythologies, from Chinese values, legends and folklore. Statues of famous legends such as Confucious and the Laughing Buddha can be found in Haw Park Villa, with its over 1,000 statues and 150 dioramas.Well known exhibits include the Ten Courts of Hell exhibit, as well as the classic Chinese legend of the Journey into the West.
