A 2.2km flat path trail, the Baiyang Trail (白楊步道) begins about 300 metres from Tianxiang on the Central Cross-Island Highway. The trail involves a walk through six tunnels of varying lengths, and visitors are advised to bring flashlights for a smoother walk as they feel their way through the semi-darkness. Longer tunnels have solar-powered lights. Sights along the Baiyang Trail include splendid examples of geology and morphology of a marble gorge, an excellent view of the Tacijili River, and the Baiyang Waterfall. The Baiyang Trail is pretty popular among the locals, drawing many with its mysterious and romantic atmosphere. The end of the trail is a water curtain tunnel, where the large amount of water leaking from the ceiling forms a river. As such, visitors should be prepared to get wet.
This place is also known as 白楊步道.
