Northeast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area - Scenic Spot in Taiwan

Located in the northeast corner of Taiwan, the Northeast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area encompasses a huge area of 17,421 hectares of land and sea, stretching 102.5 kilometers. Attractions of this scenic area are centered around its numerous capes and bays backed by green mountains, with spectacular rock formations and geological landforms resulting from sea-erosion. Northeast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area also serves as a multipurpose tourist destination with its golden beaches and rich diversity of marine life being a fascinating classroom teaching the wonders of natural as well as a charming coastal playground.
