Transport tips

The most cost effective and convenient way to reach Ayutthaya is to travel by mini-bus which operates from the Victory Monument square in Bangkok.

1. Take BTS Skytrain to Victory Monument station.

2. Walk on the elevated walkway until you cross a large road and then descend. You will see buses parked at the side of the main traffic circle.

3. Cost of the transport is usually ~70 baht and takes about 1 hour -1 hour 20 minutes.

Minibuses (van) from Kanchanaburi can be arranged by guesthouses or any tour operators for around 350 baht.
