Then head down to the YM Museum of Marine Exploration Kaohsiung, or Cijin Liberty Pier Marine Exploration Museum, allows you to dive into the world of the marines! Located in a large ship-shaped structure at the Kaohsiung Harbour, it boasts of its many exhibitions scattered over two halls, an up-to-date 3D animation theatre, and a performance area. Here, you're given the opportunity to learn and understand our oceans and marine explorations better. After a day exploring the many sights at this museum, rest your tired feet at the in-house cafe. There's never a boring day at Kaohsiung with spectacular sites like the YM Museum of Marine Exploration Kaohsiung!

1.Nearest to Caoya Train Station.
2.Board from any train station of the Kaohsiung Station Lines to Caoya Train Station.
3.Walk to Mingzheng Elementary School Bus-Stop (明正國小(捷運草衙站)) by heading northwest on Cuiheng South Road (翠亨南路).
4.Take Bus 9(Red) [All Day] towards 天后宮, alight 16 stops later at 汙水處理廠.
5.Head south-east on Qijin 2nd Road (旗津二路)
6.Turn left and bypass Dashan Elementary School (大汕國小)
7.Turn left onto Zhongzhou 2nd Road (中洲二路)
8.Turn right, turn left towards 北汕巷, turn right onto 北汕巷 and follow the road to YM museum of Marine Exploration.
9.Walking distance is about 800m. Whole journey takes about 46mins.
