An indoor sporting arena located in Bangkok, the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium is run by the Royal Thai Army and is now an icon for the modern Muay Thai in Thailand. You can get to watch the muay thai tournaments which are held every Tuesdays, Fridays as well as Saturdays in the evening at around 6pm. In addition, it is seen as something rare in Thailand but Lumpinee Boxing Stadium is one of those few places where gambling and betting are allowed. Gambling and betting will often take place at the second level. However as a visitor of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, it is advised not to do any gambling or betting activities here as they are often carried out by doing certain hand signals that you may not have seen before. As such, misunderstandings will often break out if the hand signals are interpreted wrongly. Be sure to catch the most exciting sport in Thailand that has been popular for many years and only unique to Thailand.
