Named after a retired American airman who often wore a cowboy hat, Soi Cowboy is the infamous red-light district in Bangkok. Having a 400 meters long street entire lit up by neon lights, it has around 40 bars to serve as a form of entertainment for visitors and tourists who usually make up a big part of the guests in Soi Cowboy.
In 2001, a law was passed whereby all the clubs and bars were to be closed by 2am but later brought to 1am as Soi Cowboy is not established as an official entertainment spot unlike that of Patpong. Soi Cowboy has also been used in songs as well as in films such as The Hangover Part 2. Experience nightlife like never before in a foreign country would definitely be one experience you will never forget.

Take BTS to Asok Station, walk across the sky bridge towards S Sukhumvit Suites. It is the first small lane you see. You will be amazed at the stark difference during day and night at this place.
Jay Chan says about Others
You can just pop over, order a drink and be amazed at this happening street - just for the experience and nothing naughty if you do not wish to. =)
