Yangming Shan is a major tourist attraction in Taipei. Apart from offering spectacular views of the surrounding area, the mountain also features the Yangming Park, which contains a famous flower clock that plays music on the hour. Visit during the spring and summer months to catch the beautiful flowers on the mountain all in bloom.
This place is also known as 陽明山.

Must do tips
1. Cross the wooden board walks of the Datun Pond to see lush aquatic vegetation. Hike to the mountain peak via the forest trails, and enjoy the crisp fresh air and spectacular greenery - however, do not wander off the trail onto scrub land as it is home to venomous snakes.
2. Sojourn here during spring and be awed by the resplendent blossoms of rhododendron and sweet pink azaleas (cherry blossoms).

Transport tips
1.Nearest to Xinbeitou Train Station.
2.Board from any train station of the Taipei Train Lines to Xinbeitou Train Station.
3.From Xinbeitou Train Station, walk to 新北投 Bus-Stop by heading east on Daye Road (大業路) and continue onto Quanyuan Road (泉源路) on the right side of the road.
4.Take Bus 小9 [All Day] towards 水尾(竹子湖)
5.Alight 25 stops later at 第二停車場遊客中心 Bus-Stop.
6.Head northwest on Yangjin Road (竹子湖路/陽金公路/台2甲線)
7.Turn right onto Zhuzihu Road (竹子湖路), continue on the road, following a right bend and you will find Yangming Shan National Park Entrance.
8.Walking distance is about 400m. Whole journey takes about 50mins.
