Opened in April 1994 at Akita port, this is the best place to get a complete and an entire panoramic view of the city of Akita. Standing at 143m high, Akita City Port Tower Selion is located at 100m above ground and will definitely offer all visitors and locals the best perspective of the entire city of Akita, in addition to the Sea of Japan, Oga Peninsula as well as Mount Chokai. Furthermore, below the port, there is also a market which sells all the best fish which is highly popular among the locals as well as tourists who would love some authentic fresh catch from Akita.
