Run by the Road Transport Historical Society, this museum is dedicated to conserving and presenting Australia's unique road transport heritage. A trip to the Road Transport Hall of Fame offers visitors insight into the history of transportation in Australia. Learn about the great trucks, buses and other vehicles used in the past to traverse the vast terrain down under, and find out about the contribution of the people who drove and lived with these majestic machines of the past.

1. The AEC eight-wheel government roadtrain was designed and built in England for desert warfare purposes. Out of the only three which were built, the only remaining example alive to tell its tale as Australia's first motorised road train is on exhibition. Definitely a display not to be missed!
