Yizhong Street Night Market is located near 中友百貨 (Chungyo Department Store) in northwest of Taichung. In this particular night market, there are a wide variety of food items sold at reasonable prices. You will almost find it impossible to bargain for anything as the items are really inexpensive around here. Some highly recommended food items would be that of the 'Yizong Fong Ran Ice', shaved ice mixed with plum juice, red beans and ice cream, 'Wang Yien Dry Noodles' and the popular crispy tender 'Hao Da Big Chicken Fillet'.
This place is also known as 一中街夜市.

Transport tips
1.Nearest to Taichung Train Station.
2.From Taichung Train Station, walk, to Taichung Train Station Bus-Stop by heading west on Zhongshan Road (中山路) and turn right onto Jianguo Road (建國路).
3.Take Bus 59 towards 新民高中(三民路)
4.Alight 3 stops later at 游泳池 Bus-Stop.
5.Head north on Shuangshi Road, Section 1 (雙十路一段)
6.Turn left onto Taiping Road (太平路)
7.Turn left onto Yizhong Street (一中街) where you will find Yizhong Night Market.
8.Walking distance is about 250m. Whole journey takes about 11mins.
