Huis Ten Bosch is a residential-style resort town that reproduces the medieval Dutch town in the 17th century. Its name means 'the house in woods' in Dutch, and it lives up to its name with its surrounding greenery, forests and canals. Opened in 1992, Huis Ten Bosch also aims to be the top flower resort in the world and offer sights of flowers in full bloom throughout the year. In its vast space spanning some 152 hectares, it features hotels, theaters, museums, shops and restaurants.
Popular attractions here include the 80m high observation deck and the Palace Huis Ten Bosch that reproduces the residence of Her Majesty the Queen of The Netherlands, among many others. Traveling around Huis Ten Bosch is also special, with buses and taxis from an era of days gone past operating efficiently to bring you wherever you wish to go.
