Located in central Taipei and completed in 1987, National Theater and Concert Hall are Taiwan's primary national performing arts venues. The architecture displays an array of Chinese elements - golden roof, red walls, and multi-colored arches. Inside, the pipe organ in its main performance hall was the largest of its kind in Asia when installed in 1987.
