Johor Zoo - Zoo in Malaysia

Located at Jalan Gertak Merah, the Johor Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in Malaysia. Built in 1928, it started as a private menagerie of the royal family before it was handed over to the government and opened to public in 1962. Visit if you are interested in taking a peek at the past when royalties spend money on frivolities like owning a private zoo, otherwise this small zoo is unlikely to provide any great entertainment to those more used to sprawling zoos of modern times.
